World Champs
We are pleased to announce the release of David’s latest tribute piece to the Cobra’s 50th Anniversary.
Last weekend (prior to the Shelby American Collection Museum’s event), I personally had the pleasure of meeting racing legends Bob Bondurant, Allen Grant and Jack Sears. They were each gracious enough to sign the canvas prints of David Uhl’s latest automobile masterpiece “World Champs”. Greg Rhodes, Uhl Studios National Sales Manager
“World Champs” depicts Bondurant in 1964, shown racing in the Sierre Montagna Hill Climb in Switzerland. The Shelby team swept the top three spots in this race (Bondurant took 1st) and although they fell just short of the World Championship that year, it set the stage for their first World Championship the following year. In 1965, Bondurant was again an integral part of the World Champion Shelby America team that compiled 7 victories in 10 races, beating Ferrari on its home turf.
Each of the canvas giclee prints come with a Certificate of Authenticity, and are hand-signed by David Uhl, Bob Bondurant, Allen Grant and Jack Sears.
