Ice Relic
We are pleased to announce the release of “Ice Relic”. On April 4th, 1942, this Messerschmidt Bf 109 was shot down over a frozen lake in Russia. As the pilot was evacuating the cockpit, the crippled craft quickly broke through the ice and remained underwater for the next 61 years.
In 2003, it was pulled from the icy waters and is now in the U.S. for restoration.
Canvas prints come hand-signed and numbered, with Certificate of Authenticity.
