David’s friendship with Steven Tyler has lead to a number of projects, the most recent of which is his painting of Steven’s son Taj. In David’s words, “While considering this project, I instantly envisioned Taj back in ’43 pairing with the classic shape of the P’51 Mustang. Since I have painted this aircraft several times, and being familiar with its records, I decided to put him next to one of the world’s most famous warbirds, “Cripes A’Mighty.”
