Rebel Yell
“Rebel Yell” is the sixth commemorative print in this series, joining “Censored 1933”, “Rumblefish”, “Buried Treasure”, “Babe” and “Daytona Ink”. Each canvas giclee print comes hand-signed and numbered with a Certificate of Authenticity.
“With this year’s commemorative piece, I wanted speak to the ’40s again and illustrate the spirit of the rally from the perspective of being young at heart and throwing caution to the wind . Back in the late 1940s, the average motorcycle enthusiast was a veteran returned from the war who was consistently drawn to the rallies for the flat out exitement and balls to the wall insanity of racing down a beach. Of course, everyone on the area would be affected by the sounds and the energy, especially young boys screaming their own echoes of the climate of exhilaration.”
