The Answer, My Friend

“I  have  been  watching  Adam  Sandoval  of  ScootinAmerica  for  years,  and  have  been  waiting  for  an  opportunity  to  echo  his  world  with  oil  paint.  I  have  always  envied  his  incredible  journey  across  our  nation  and  the  experiences  he  must  have  had.  I  have  looked  through  thousands  of  great  photos,  and  finally  chose  this  one.  He  had  posted  it  on  FB  and  captioned  it  with  a  Bob  Dylan  song:  “The  Answer,  my  Friend,  is  Blowing’  in  the  Wind”.

Whenever  I’ve  found  myself  out  on  the  open  road,  I  quite  enjoy  the  solitary  headspace  it  can  take  you  to.  This  piece  sums  that up  for  me.  I  painted  his  bike  in  and  changed  the  storm  a  bit ,  but  I  believe  it  still  has  the  feel  he  intended  to  capture.

In 2024, David is offering three Sturgis Rally Commemorative artworks. This one is called “The  Answer,  My  Friend”.  Please enjoy!

!!!! All purchases come with a special, unframed watercolor print of Adam Sandoval and his canine companion!!!

These  Fine  Art  prints  come  hand-signed  by  David,  numbered  and  framed,  with  a  Certificate  of  Authenticity  and  a  commemorative nameplate. Framed or unframed.
